"I’ve used just about every Keratin Complex formula out there and this one is the worst! I used it in my friend with very normal hair, not really wavy, colored hair that frizzes in our Florida heat. It pulled all of her color out, was horrible to try to brush through and worst of all, she still has frizz and her hair won’t take color still. Frankly, wish I stuck to the standard formula and never bought this kit. I’m out $250 and am afraid to use it on anyone else."

"I used this treatment on myself and a client, both resulting in very brassy hair. I emailed the company and apparently it shouldn’t be used on bleached hair? Beware as it could destroy your clients hair color in the process."

Does t “shift color”. It stripped my color

"I’m a professional, using KC for 16 years. I really wasn’t excited about the new KCRio. I love the ones we use already (kmax, NKST, Express) But our sales rep was all excited about it. Thankfully I used myself as a guinea pig. One of my coworkers used it on me. I’m a level 5/6 (Wella) and my hair turned orange. (Iron on 360°] Our rep was like, well, just tone after. Who wants to pay for that?! Or who wants to take the time to do that? No thanks."
