"I’ve been using Keratin Complex for over a year now, and as a hairstylist, I can genuinely say it has become one of my favorite ways to manage my hair. 🙌🏽 My biggest issue has always been frizz and trying to maintain my hair between wash days. Since adding Keratin Complex treatments to my routine, my hair is so much easier to manage, my blow-dry time is faster, and my styles last longer. What I love most is that a keratin treatment is NOT a relaxer. I can still wear my natural texture—I just have less frizz and a much easier styling process. The treatment can also be customized depending on how much curl or texture you want to maintain. Living in Arizona, people assume frizz isn’t an issue because we don’t have the same humidity as other states, but between the heat, sweating, working out, and everyday styling, having more manageable hair makes such a difference for me. After using Keratin Complex consistently for over a year, I can say it has become a regular part of my personal hair-care routine—and it’s also one of my favorite services to offer my clients. "I think it's time to start listening to your stylists. I adore PBO and have been using it for years but I have been searching for another brand of keratin since you jacked up the price to $700 essentially to sell the mask. Anyone who has done the training and is certified knows they need all the products for best results. I don't think you understand how much product it takes to properly do this treatment on someone with very long, coarse and thick type 4 hair. Not only that, 80% of my clients don't even wash their own hair, they come into the salon every 1 - 2 weeks so I'm the one who's mostly using the mask on my backbar because I refuse to purchase the large mask now with so much extra in stock which feels like a waste opening up those little bottles. I also now have an excess of Shampoo as well, even being generous and shampooing at least 3 times per client during keratin sessions, even with, again, very long, thick, coarse hair clients. It was already hard shelling out the $350 it was to buy the product back in the day, but now it's just insane. You can only charge so much for a treatment, especially one that is semi permanent. With the product cost along with the wear and tear on my body doing this treatment, it has come to either not offering it or finding a product with similar if not better results for a fraction of the cost. The last thing holding me back is the care I have for my clients hair. After Pravana perfection stopped selling their keratin, I did about 3 months of trials with NKST, PBO and then KC max when it first came out( which I hate!!) to finally decide PBO is the one that is going to be best for my clients hair and give them the results they have come to expect. I find it very interesting that all the other KC lines can be purchased alone or with just the shampoo, yet this is the only one that forces you to purchase the whole kit. If you are gonna force a kit on stylists, you should just have the shampoo and a 32 oz mask in it for their back bar, instead of all those retail bottles, or just offer some sort of retail bundle . I include the shampoo conditioner and mask in my pricing and would totally appreciate a retail bundle separately, but when I need a bottle of PBO, there is absolutely no reason why I can't just purchase a bottle of that alone!! The product is a 5 but this unnecessary situation you have created is a 1! We are licensed professionals and should be treated as such! Thank you for your time and consideration!"
