    Is this product safe to use on pregnant clients?
    Hi Hannah, While Keratin Complex has not received any reports of its in-salon service products causing changes in pregnancy, we acknowledge our service products are considered chemical. As a manufacturer, we are confident in the safety standards of our products, but as with anything chemical or artificial, a woman who is pregnant or nursing should seek the advice of her physician.     How many uses are in the 4oz bottles
    Hi Katie, You should be able to get 2 to possibly 3 treatments out of the 4 oz. kit. We recommend using no more than 1 1/2 - 2 oz. per guest. Of course that will depend on the amount of hair. If you need further information, please feel free to contact our Customer Service team at 888-409-4445.
    Can I purchase the express blowout treatment seperately, with no kit? Hope to get a 16oz. size?
    Hi Tracy, The reason for the banding and boxing of the treatments is due to the fact that the KCPRIMER/Clarifying shampoo is designed to work synergistically with the treatments. After extensive research in the field and feedback from many stylists, we found that those not using the KCPRIMER as directed were having issues with the performance as well as the longevity of the treatment. For best results, the KCPRIMER is a necessary step in the treatment as it “primes” the hair to receive the optimal uptake of the treatment. The use of the KCPRIMER with the treatments is the only way you as a stylist can guarantee the service. As with any chemical service, following the manufacturer's directions will always give you the best performance of a product.     Can I buy the treatment without the shampoo? I still have enough shampoo to last me for a while!
    Hi Tara, Our Treatments come with all products to successfully complete the Treatment. The duos were designed to be certain that you have enough KCPRIMER to last the life of the bottle of treatment. Typically you are washing at least 2 times with the KCPRIMER which uses about an ounce of KCPRIMER. Therefore, you should be close to empty when you are ready to reorder treatment. However, if you find you do have excess of KCPRIMER, it is a great mild de-mineralizing shampoo prior to color for your clients that have hard water or swim a lot as it is very gentle and doesn’t strip color. You could utilize it as an add-on “hair detox” service for a fresh clean slate on the hair.     Hi Wendy, Our KCEXPRESS can be applied to towel dried hair right after color is washed out. It will only take 15 minutes to apply the treatment and will be followed up with a blow dry and flat iron. Only adding an extra 15 minutes to a color and style appointment.
